Carpet Care
If you spill or stain your carpet plese follow these few simple rules to help to remove spills with a minimum of fuss.
Prompt action is esential to get spills cleaned up before it sets. Make sure you scrap up all of the excess materials firstly, 90% of all spills can be removed without staining your carpet if they are tackled at once with water and the ‘BLOT UP’ method of stain removal. the ‘blot up’ method of removing spilled materials consists of absorbing the spill so nothing is left in the carpet. Any clean and absorbent cloth will act like a blotter if pressed firmly against the spilled material. In affect you are transfering the stain from the carpet to the cloth, DO NOT RUB, as rubbing will only spread the stain, instead place solvent on the cloth and press against the stain firmly. for surface stains press down and hold, for deeper stains place a weight on the cloth and allow some time for stain to be absorbed.
Keep Cleaning materials on hand ready to use
Try to identify what caused the stain and remove it following directions carefully
